This year a limited number of 2022 Holiday cards went out to the Ruff 100 and some special donors. We are thrilled to introduce you to the artist featured on our card:
Ruff’s own Technical Director Carley Melvin!
Carley is a gifted artist, TD, and carpenter. She’s hard-working, incredibly thorough, patient, and cool in a crisis. (She’s also very very funny during a sound-check. You’ll have to arrive at the park extra early to behold her nightly routine!) A recent graduate of Sheridan College, we are so lucky to be a part of this early stage in Carly’s career, and can’t wait to see where her talent and tenacity take her.
BEHIND THE SCENES – Carley paints each of the cards by hand. In order to make our digital copy of it we took a high-resolution macro photo of the card (ensuring that we picked up on as much of the details and texture as we could) and digitally altered it in canva. 2) Make a $100+ donation in the 2023 season (that’s now if you’re doing some year-end giving!)
