Workshops for businesses and non-profits

“To business that we love we rise betimes,
and go to't with delight.”

— Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra

Bring some park magic into your organization with Shakespeare in the Ruff’s workshops for businesses and non-profits. We’ll teach your team transferable skills from our work in the theatre sector in a series of fun, approachable exercises that will leave folks feeling inspired, playful, and connected. All our workshops are available in-person or online, as standalone experiences or in packages of two or three.

Your organization can choose from the following options:

  1. Team-building: This workshop will encourage your team to learn more about each other, support each other effectively, and practice collaboration with playfulness and generosity.
  2. Public speaking: Here’s a secret for you — not even theatre people like public speaking! Thankfully, our training has given us some useful strategies for finding confidence, ease, and clarity when we have to talk in front of strangers. We’ll share some of these strategies with you in this workshop, via activities that will leave you feeling more connected to your voice and to yourself.
  3. Generating Ideas Without Judgment: Ideas which seem silly at first can often lead to brilliant results. So why do we often find ourselves too nervous or embarrassed to share our most imaginative thoughts? In this workshop, we’ll encourage you to brainstorm without putting limits on yourself or others, and inspire you to take creative risks in a friendly, supportive environment.
  4. Mash-up Option: This workshop offers a mix of exercises around team-building, public speaking, and generating ideas without judgment, for those who want a little bit of everything.

Pricing

  • $500 for one workshop
  • $800 for two workshop package
