Ruff is hiring a Front-of-House Manager to join our team this summer. We’re looking for someone organized, friendly, and self-motivated with a love for theatre and the unpredictability of working outdoors!
IMPORTANT DATES:
August 11th: Training, prep, and on-site orientation begins (hours flexible).
August 17th: First preview
August 19th: Opening night
September 3rd: Closing night
*No performances Mondays
FEE:
$1500 (+HST) for 75 hours
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
-Recruiting FOH Volunteers
-Create FOH volunteer schedule, and act as the point person via email for all FOH volunteers, sending out shift reminders and coordinating last minute shift changes/cancellations
-Manage Ruff’s ticketing site for advanced purchases/reservations
ON-SITE DUTIES:
-Work at Withrow Park during the run of show (approx. 4-5 hrs/night Tues-Sun), coordinating all FOH aspects of the 2023 production including box office set up, pre-ordered seat set up, tear down, deployment of signs in the park, etc.
-Act as the point person for volunteers, ensuring that they are performing assigned tasks/duties and answering any questions they might have
-Manage the patron experience, being available to assist in solving any patron requests, issues, concerns, comments, etc.
-Reconcile box office and donations nightly
-Helping to ensure patrons are adhering to current COVID-19 protections Ruff has in place.
