RUFF IS LOOKING FOR A SUMMER CAREGIVER!
Are you an experienced childcare provider? Do you like being outdoors in the summer? Ruff wants to meet you!
For the fourth year in a row, Shakespeare in the Ruff is proud to provide on-site childcare for our summer team. We’re looking for a fun, responsible caregiver to lead what we affectionately call “Camp Ruff”!
Outside dates:
July 13th to August 15th, 2026, typically 6 hours/day, 5 days/week.
Fee:
$825/week July 13-Aug 9 (4 weeks); $22/hour Aug 10-15 as needed through tech and previews.
Responsibilities:
- On-site caregiver for 1-3 children (need may vary day to day) ages 8-13
- Plan activities and outings with inclement weather backup plans.
- Manage a budget (provided by Ruff) for any materials or paid excursions.
Qualifications:
- Childcare experience
- Able to provide a professional reference
- Full availability weekdays July 13-Aug 9; some flexibility weekends and Aug 10-15. (Conflicts with notice can be accommodated.)
- Comfortable swimming
- CPR certification preferred
- Completion of Vulnerable Sector check
