It’s hard to make a living as an artist. Full stop.
No matter what stage of your career you’re at, it’s hard. And talking about that might be even harder.
Ruff is incredibly honoured to have financial advisor Tim Ziegler (who also has deep, deep roots in the theatre community) joining us to facilitate a safe and honest conversation about art and money. Let’s dive into this uncomfortable subject together and come out the other side with some tools, goals, clarity, and fresh hope.
Monday October 20th
11am-1pm
In person at East End United (310 Danforth Ave., Toronto) or virtually via Zoom.
The Hurndale room at East End United has access to a kitchen and is wheelchair accessible.

About Tim Ziegler: Tim was an actor for twelve years. His dad was an actor, his mom is still an actor. His wife was an actor. His friends, his family friends are all actors. After his acting career he became a financial advisor. Today, most of his clients are artists who turn to him because the finance industry feels cold, confusing, and built for someone else. Tim leans into the discomfort, so artists can stop apologizing for wanting stability.
